Cassie & Adam Hicks [June 21, 2009]

From the moment I set foot into the hotel room where Cassie was prepping for the wedding she was grinning from ear to ear.  No words can explain the glow, cheer and happiness that Cassie projected on her wedding day.  Everything made her giggle and everything made her happy.  I'm guessing Cassie thought, "Everything is perfect, because today I am marrying the love of my life and I'm MINUTES away from doing so!"  Cassie truly savored every moment of her wedding day, from sitting while she had her make up applied to having six bridesmaids (plus mom) jiggle her into the dress.  As Cassie enjoyed her last moments with friends, Adam relaxed with his groomsman and awaited his bride.  The wedding took place at Dana Point in a simple boat house right off the shore.  Although simple, the venue was decorated with beautiful daisies, colorful peacock feathers and the air was filled with the sweet sounds of the ukulele.  The ceremony was seemingly perfect and catered to the sunshine of Cassie and Adam's love.  As Cassie walked down to a Death Cab favorite, I Will Follow You Into The Dark, Adam's face glowed with pride and humility.  I can only imagine that at this moment, Cassie and Adam experienced something like tunnel vision in which no sight or sound interfered their love.    Congratulations Cassie and Adam Hicks. And thank you for being a genuine example of Love.
