Maribel & Maly's Wedding

It is a pure shame. Shame, I tell you.  

It is a shame that we never got to know Maribel and Maly during our undergrad at LSU.  We attended the same school, during the same years and even had mutual friends.  I'm just glad we finally met this beautiful couple.  Not only are them undoubtfully beautiful together, they share something so special, spirituality.  When we were going over the run-through for the wedding, Mari explained the centerpiece of the ceremony to me, her and Maly were going to have a private prayer together.  I got chills and a tiny lump in my throat. How amazing and intimate! She went on to explain that prayer has been a huge part in their relationship as a couple.  It is something that has pulled them through many trials.  As we wrapped up the meeting, Maly suggested we end with a prayer. I walked out of that Starbucks feeling refreshed and renewed.  There is something sooo powerful about prayer.  Thank you Mari and Maly for witnessing to me that day, you truly are a blessing to all.
