Mistakes are a beautiful thing. When we make mistakes we often lose something, our dignity, our friend, or ourselves. But the beauty in that is the feeling of a fresh start. Brush it off. "Cry me a river, build a bridge, and GET OVER IT!"...is what my 12 year-old self would tell you.
If that loss is too great and unbearable, the next best thing is to learn from it. No one can stop you from learning and attempting to fix, white-out and restore.
The following photos are a series from my reject pile in which I was testing lighting or location. I very much loose my dignity when I review the instant image on my LED screen but I very much gain the confidence to learn, change a couple of settings and move forward.
Apply this to your life today. Adjust the settings of your attitude, willfulness, and dignity. I pray that a peaceful day awaits you.
[below] Darren is always a great lighting subject and somehow I get him to laugh. What a cutie. :)
